FAQ
-
What is a DISC assessment?
DISC is a needs-motivated, observable behavioral profiling system which measures the energy you are putting into dominating problems, influencing people, steadying the environment and complying to rules and details.
-
Why Relationships & Communication
We'll not only help you understand your own needs-based behaviors, emotions, and fears, but you'll also be able to identify those same things in others.
-
How long will it take to complete the program?
It will take approximately 2 hours to complete Modules 1 - 4. You will want to spend additional time practicing your new skills. You can also connect with us each month to deepen your development, or answer burning questions
-
What is being measured through assessment?
DISC measures our underlying emotions, needs, and fears (like an iceberg), the primary concerns that drive all behavior. Through self-selection, you choose the words that are most like you and the words that are least like you, and through those responses, the tool reveals your behavioral style.
-
Can my whole staff participate?
Absolutely, when you complete a school-wide or team training, you'll also receive a team report and debrief. Email [email protected] for professional development and in-service details
-
How accurate are assessment results? What if mine are wrong?
DISC has high statistical accuracy, validity, and reliability through studies over decades. The best validity of this measure however is YOU - does it represent how other see you behaving at least 80+% of the time? Some styles never feel they got it 'right', if you are unsure about your results ask someone who knows you what they see to ensure you aren't missing something?
-
What if I have questions or need support?
Each module and section has a chat feature where you can leave comments for other students or facilitators to respond. Once you are enrolled you will also be invited to a monthly group coaching call to support the application.
-
How do refunds work?
You may request a refund prior to completing your DISC assessment in module 2. After assessments are complete refunds are invalid.
